Wkly Hit List, 1/9/2026

Hello KlicKNetttars and Happy New Year. We've said it many times before on our social media accounts and I wish this one was under better circumstances. I wish I could come up with a great story to write for the first Wkly Hit List of 2026, and I wish I could give an update on Rhodey, NY which happens to be a great one I might add; but that will have to wait until next week. In fact, a lot of things are gonna have to wait til next week because this week has been all about one big tragedy. This past Wednesday, Renée Nicole Macklin Good, a 37-year-old single mother and US citizen, was fatally shot by an ICE agent in a neighborhood in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The first time I saw the video, I was absolutely shocked and disgusted, the agents tried to get into the car of Renée Good who began to leave the scene. One agent reached in the driver side window and supposedly tried to grab her, then another agent picked up his gun and fired three shots and killed the woman as her vehicle moved past him, video does shows that Good was maneuvering forward, but away from the shooter. After the shooting, the car continued down the street (Portland Avenue between East 33rd and 34th Streets) until it crashed into a parked car that bumped into another car and a light pole.

The part that makes this story very disgusting is how Federal officials and the current US administration have defended the shooting. They say the agent acted in self-defense, that Good was a "domestic terrorist" attempting to run him over, and that the shooting was rushed to the hospital after suffering an injury during the shooting. All these are ONE BIG LIE, especially the one in which the the shooter was injured, video clearly shows that he walked away from the crashed car unharmed and went into his car and drove away. One woman, who might have been the one videoing the incident, was screaming all kinds of things to the ICE agent like "Shame," "What did you do?" and "Don't let the murder leave!" You could see in the video the no ICE agents choose to give the woman immediate medical attention, another video shows that ICE agents would not allow an licensed doctor to check on the woman who was dying in her car. You could also hear one agent say he doesn't care if the doctor could help. An ambulance had arrived minuted later but could not get to Renée because ICE agents were blocking their way, so paramedics had to get to her on foot and carry her back to the ambulance without a stretcher. Renée Nicole Macklin Good was pronounced dead the moment her body arrived at the hospital, and she leaves behind a child who is now an orphan.

Needless to say the whole country is outraged by this incident, including the Mayor of Minneapolis, Jacob Frey who was very vocal in a press conference a few hours after the shooting. He called the lies that federal officials and the current US administration have spun as nothing but "Bullsh*t" and sent a message to ICE themselves to "Get The F*ck Outta Minneapolis." How can anyone argue with those statements? New video from the shooter's phone show that Renée was being civil to the ICE agents, it's hard to tell if she said anything that might have offended. But one thing that caught my attention was when after he shot her, he called her a "F*cking B*tch" as her car crashed into others. I have never been more outraged by anything quite like this, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz was on point when he said during a press conference that this shooting could have been "preventable." People are comparing this to the Death of George Floyd whose murder by a Minneapolis police officer in 2020, sparked worldwide protests over police brutality and racial justice. Even worse, Renée's death occurred about one mile from the location where George Floyd died, so many in Minnesota have not gotten over that tragedy and I'm afraid they're getting major flashbacks thanks to what happened this week. So now as we speak, there are protests in Minneapolis and other major cities around the country, including right here in New York City, and some fear that things will get worse and the protests will turn into riots. The first full week of the New Year hasn't concluded yet and already the country is hit with tragedy from within. All I can say to those protesters is stay safe out there, feel empowered to stand up for what you believe in, and don't give the ones twisting the truth feel like they're winning the argument.

This has been the Wkly Hit List. Thank You 💜
