Wkly Hit List, 3/13/2026

Happy Friday the 13th KlicKNettars. So much to talk about this weekend like the Oscars, more on that later but first, I thought this would be the perfect time to give an update on KlicKNet Productions' Rhodey, NY. Our team has spent the last two months coming up with a "loose plan" for this project by searching for filming locations, we've found another team that can help us shoot in New Jersey, as well as New York City, we just finished making shooting schedules and a shot list, and we've even modified the script to make the story of the project fit with what locations we want to use. But the most important part has been figuring out the budget of this film and by doing so, KlicKNet Productions made its first budget breakdown.

If I can be honest for a minute, it's quite apparent that the KlicKNet team and I never knew what the actual budget of Rhodey, NY was going to be at all, I made an educated guess in Rhodey's Campaign Video last year that it would be between $5000 and $8000, but all that nonsense is dead and buried. This time we know exactly what we're doing, we'll still trying to shoot everything in the summer, and it's very important that we secure funding, to that end we've found applicants on Backstage.com who have signed up to be producers for this project. Interviews will begin next week at the earliest, so if anyone reading this Wkly Hit List post is listening, you can throw your name into the Backstage Hat and apply for Producer, we'd be happy to interview you and hear your ideas to help make Rhodey, NY a reality.

A brand new episode of FakeTV Box dropped on YouTube this week and KlicKNettars had better be on the look for more this month. With that in mind we bring another Flashback Friday moment celebrating the 5th Anniversary of KlicKNet's Flagship YouTube series. Since our newest episode is about the second season of Daredevil: Born Again, let's flashback to last year in 2025 when we talked about the first season of Daredevil: Born Again.

Our Inside Scoop this weekend concerns the 98th Academy Awards hosted by Conan O'Brien this Sunday at 7PM on ABC. There are over 24 categories which include a new one called "Best Casting." Almost every year I've been giving my predictions on who's going to win which Oscars, and this year's nominees look absolutely superb. Sinners directed by Ryan Coogler had an overall sixteen nominations which are the most in Oscar history, surpassing the previous record of fourteen shared by All About Eve, Titanic, and La La Land. Sources say that Sinners might win the most Oscars this year as well, which is why I'm sure that many people will be glued to their seats this Sunday to see wins.
