Wkly Hit List, 4/25/2026

HERE WE ARE KLICKNETTARS! The last weekend in April, and I would like to start off this brand new Wkly Hit List by saying I'm looking to forward what lies ahead the next couple of months. While we may not get to shoot KlicKNet Productions' first independent film project "Rhodey, NY" during the spring season, there's always summer so no worries. Of course, with everything else that goes on in the World of KlicKNet, we've haven't encourage people enough to donate funding to the project on our GoFundMe page. We may tell people to donate all the time on FakeTV Box, but that's still isn't enough, one has to spread more awareness to everyone who will listen, and no I did not get that sentence from a fortune cookie. Next month, the KlickNet team will make a decision on who to hire as producers for Rhodey, NY; I managed to conduct interview on five people who are were available to meet with me. But enough about that, as you probably noticed, Wkly Hit List is coming to you on a Saturday but that doesn't mean we can't have another Flashback Friday for your viewing pleasure. The 5th Anniversary of FakeTV Box is near and dear to us, we've done a total of 210 episodes since 2021 and one that I enjoyed doing was a Halloween Episode featuring back in 2022, this featured our reaction to the Official Trailer of Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man & Wasp: Quantumania.

Speaking of Marvel, the Inside Scoop for this week continues our recapping of Marvel Television's Daredevil: Born Again Season Two. Everybody's been two things: 1. How will Mayor Fisk react to the death of his wife Vanessa? and 2. When the heck are we going to see Krysten Ritter play Jessica Jones? Well at long last, we're going to have the answer to both questions in Episode Six. WARNING: This piece may contain spoilers, so if you haven't seen Episode 5 of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 yet, stop reading now. If you would like to continue at your risk, then be my guest.

It all picks up where the last episode left off with Mayor Fisk who just witnessed his wife die after the doctors couldn't revive her, and it doesn't take Fisk too long to go full Kingpin on somebody's behind. He bear hugs a surgeon to death when the latter tried to give the Mayor his condolences. Sometime later, Fisk attends his wife's funeral where he's the only one in the church wearing white, while everyone else is wearing black. Now it's hard to say of this loss is behind Fisk's decision not to run for re-election as Mayor and also his decision to let the AVTF move Mr. Charles's weapons to their own warehouse, but there might a bigger reason behind it all later on in the season.

But now the moment we've all been waiting for and it all starts at a family home in broad daylight and a little girl playing with her toys. Suddenly, a SUV pulls out outside and some guns with guns pop out looking to cause some trouble. The girl's mom hears them trying to get into the house and she goes outside to stop hem, a bomb or grenade is thrown into the house and the girl picks it up and plays with it around the around. There's a lot of action going on outside until the mom comes back in and just in time to disarm the bomb/grenade before it goes off, and that's when the mom is revealed to be none other than Jessica Jones, and the little girl is her daughter. This whole sequence was phenomenal and the episode is just getting good as we come to Karen treating Bullseye's wounds in her and Daredevil's hideout. She makes it very clear to Matt and the audience through the episode that she wants Dex and Kingpin dead for everything that they've done to the people that she loves.

She is so consumed by anger and hate, to the point where she tries to kill Dex with a gun, but Matt stops just in time and then does his best to try and remind her about having a moral compass. You cannot blame Karen for how she feels about Dex and Kingpin, though you have to admire Matt's determination in not cross the same line as them. We catch up with Mr. Charles who is angry that Kingpin is having the AVTF move all of his weapons to their own warehouse, so he offers to help NY Governor McCaffrey with removing Fisk from office. We also learn from Jessica Jones that Charles is the one who sent those men to her house after she turned down an offer he made to work for him. It's also revealed that Mr. Charles has been making the offer to other super-powered people and some of them have actually said yes. Since he works for the US Government, Mr. Charles' superior is Valentina Allegra de Fontaine who might be looking to do some expanding with The New Avengers, of course these are all theories so we don't exactly what's going.

Moving on, Daredevil and Jessica team up – just like good 'ol days – to destroy the weapons guarded by the AVTF. Jessica does however reveal that her powers have not been the same since she gave birth to her daughter. Basically they come and go like an really bad toothache that makes it hard for people to keep their minds on their work, still this doesn't stop Jessica Jones from Daredevil for the rest of the season. Let's talk about what Fisk's right-hand man and fixer Buck Cashman has been up to, he tells Blake to feed BB false information which in my estimation, could lead in her into some serious trouble. But BB does the smart thing and chooses not to leak it, all the while there something going on between her and Blake that'll catch everyone's attention. Next Up, Cashman meets with Heather who is still suffering from her Muse trauma, and believe it or not, he helps her through it by letting her recreate Muse's choking on him. I found this scene to be really shocking because Cashman didn't seem too worry about gettin choked out for real by Heather, all this really does is pour more fuel on the fire that's raging inside of Heather, and I have a strong feeling that it's not gonna end well.

Finally, the final minutes of Episode Six begins with a protest outside City Hall which features protestors wearing their own Daredevil masks. Karen joins in by projecting testimonies from the Red Hook prisoners onto the building, but Fisk doesn't seem to care. He is sitting all alone in his cellar still mourning Vanessa's death when Daredevil shows up. Matt and Fisk reflect on their own pasts and the people they have lost over the years, it's clear that they are both tired of being at each other's throats all the time. So, Matt suggests that they both leave New York to have peace, but Fisk refuses and the two of them fight; I don't need to tell you how this fight went, so let's just skip to the end where Daredevil wins and leaves Kingpin alive, the same way he did at the end of the original series on Netflix. Outside, the protest is still going on and lead AVTF officer Connor Powell escalates the matter by killing Alan Saunders –  having known that he was helping Daredevil – and pins his death on vigilantes; this causes a lot of chaos which leads to Karen being caught by the AVTF. Sadly, that's how the episode ends which leads us asking ourselves: "What do you think is gonna happen now?"
