HAPPY AVENGERS DOOMSDAY DAY KlicKNettars! That's what we would be saying if Marvel Studios' Avengers: Doomsday was released today like it intended to. But as you know Disney pushed the movie last year to December 18, 2026 to follow more time on post-production, and considered the positive reception Doomsday has gotten through test screenings and exclusive footage from CinemaCon, Disney made the right decision. Still, it would be have nice to be at the theaters right now covering Avengers: Doomsday all while watching it in it entirety. We still haven't see an official trailer of the movie, but there's high hopes it will come sometime this summer, and while we wait for that, let's not wait for the 5-Day Rounder this week because it's coming at you now.

It gives me great pleasure now to announce that FakeTV Box will be live streaming during San Diego Comic-Con in July as well as D23 in August. In addition to that, we're gonna have a FakeTV Box 5th Anniversary Livestream this summer, more details on that soon. Anyway, it's Friday for Real! So who's up for another Flashback Friday? One of the biggest movies that came last year was Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts* which pulled off the biggest post-release marketing in cinematic history by revealing that the team's real name The New Avengers. FakeTV Box did an episode last year reacting to the Final Trailer of Thunderbolts* and let me just say that it was pleasure doing it.

Our Inside Scoop this week is another recap of Marvel Television's Daredevil: Born Again Season Two. I'm super excited about the season finale next week but I noticed that this current season only has eight episodes which is less than the first season that had nine episodes last year. We were told the original 18-episode order of Daredevil: Born Again would be split into two seasons which means they should both have the same number of episodes. Something must have changed or the season finale will be two parts itself. Nonetheless, let's go over what went down this week. WARNING: This piece may contain spoilers, so if you haven't seen Episode 7 of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 yet, stop reading now. If you would like to continue at your risk, then be my guest.

The Anti-Vigilante Task Force have managed to capture Karen during the protest and have taken her to jail. Once incarcerated, Mayor Fisk pays her a visit and the confrontation gets personal in a heartbeat as Karen points that Fisk looks scare, and why wouldn't he be. Fisk is on the brink of losing his power as Mayor of NYC and seeing one of his enemies incarcerated doesn't seem to bring him any joy at all. He doesn't like Karen mocking him one bit and nearly chokes her out for good, but Fisk leaves her be and tells her to use her one phone call wisely. After main title sequence, we find Mr. Charles being confronted by Jessica Jones who is very pissed that he sent Agents to her house while she was taking care of her daughter. In case I didn't mention it last week, the name of Jessica's daughter is Danielle, and this week it's been confirmed that Danielle's father is Luke Cage, meaning that Jessica and Luke are married in the MCU.

Anyway, Mr. Charles explains why he sent the agents and reveals to Jessica that Luke is working for the CIA overseas, so she might want to back off; not that I'm on Mr. Charles' side or anything. Charles also tells her that Fisk intends to kill New York Governor McCaffrey to kill his status as Mayor, so Jessica goes to warn Matt Murdock right away. The episode moves back to Karen in jail and she is visited by the new Chief of Detectives Brett Mahoney, someone who I'm sure Daredevil fans are very familiar with. He manages to take her outside to meet Matt in his Daredevil gear, and they both realize that Fisk wants Karen's trial to be televised across New York City. So Matt makes the stunning decision to come out of hiding and be to Karen's legal counsel alongside his legal partner Kirsten McDuffie. As the scene was unfolding, I had a few questions running through my brains like: What could Fisk be thinking about Matt's risky decision? And will we see Matt interact with his ex-girlfriend Heather for the first time since the Season 1 Finale?

We'll get back to the trial a little later, but I want to discuss another story taking place in this episode. Deputy Mayor of Communications Daniel Blake has been holding BB Urich captive and intends to hand her over to Fisk's right-man Buck Cashman, but Daniel has a change of heart and allows her to escape. Meanwhile, Matt and Kirsten attack the AVTF's integrity and rightfully so after everything they've done throughout the series. After the trial wraps up for the day, AVTF officers begin to attack Matt and Kirsten as they attempt to leave the court under the protection of Cherry, Angie Kim, maybe Brett too, and other police allies. In the midst of the chaos, Matt gets a gun shot wound and he retreat to the same church that we saw several weeks ago.

I almost forgot something else that's happened in this episode, Matt made the shocking to let Dex aka Bullseye free; and get this, Dex actually does a good deed by thwarting an assassination attempt on Governor McCaffrey. One scene that everyone needs to be talking is the one where Heather visit Karen to evaluate her, keep in mind that this is the first time the two of them are meeting and Karen does mention Matt a little bit. Heather may claim that he not offended by what Karen says, but deep down she is anything but okay. With the ghost of Muse clouding her mind, Heather gets physical and attacks Karen who is actually enjoying. Now I really wanna know if Matt and Heather will interact before Season 2 ends, of course person who will not be making an appearance in the season finale will be Daniel Blake, he gets the heck beat outta him by Cashman when he refuses to give up BB's location, and Cashman reluctantly kills him with a gun. Finally, Matt is found by Jessica in the church for she knows that there's still work to be done and a Kingpin that needs to be stopped. So that concludes our recap of this week's episode of Daredevil: Born Again, and we'll see you back here next week for our recap of the Season Finale.
